Harold Marmulstein

Executive Chef / Partner

Chef Marmulstein's passion for food started early. Many of his favorite memories are of working alongside his father in their family bakery in upstate New York. Those early mornings and hard work taught him the value of craftsmanship—a lesson that shaped his food philosophy and continues to drive him today.

After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park, he honed his skills in Atlanta, working under industry stalwart Pano Karatassos before founding the award-winning dick and harry’s Restaurant.

With over 30 years of experience as an executive chef in fine-dining restaurants across the country, Marmulstein has earned national acclaim from Zagat, Condé Nast, and Southern Living, to name a few. His dedication to slow-cooked, locally sourced fare defines the culinary experience at Salty Sow.
